What to expect after treatment?

After the treatment you can expect your skin to look a little swollen and reddish. You might also feel a mild stinging sensation. These aftereffects will also subside within an hour or two at max. Over the next two days the treated skin will peel slightly but it’s not anything to worry about. That’s the expected outcome of the treatment.

Is one session enough for results?

It really depends on the condition of your skin. However, like with any skin treatment maintenance is always required. Therefore, for consistent and long lasting results you might be asked to come back for some follow up sessions.

Should I expect bruising?

After the treatment you will experience some swelling and mild redness. This will, however, go down within a day. There is no bruising from this treatment. You should let your doctor know beforehand if your skin is sensitive or prone to bruising.

Will the procedure hurt?

No, the procedure does not hurt. We do apply numbing cream beforehand but there is no need for anesthesia. You might feel a slight stinging sensation but it will not last long.
